Continents Seven

I aim at being the first swimmer ever to compete in a major, significant, challenging race in each of the seven continents in a single year - in fact, in 8 months.
The schedule of my swims during 2018 is the following (where the seven major races counting towards my ultimate goal are bolded):
  • Jan 28 - Swim for Haiti (West Province, Haiti) - 10.0 K - DONE (1st overall)
  • Feb 10 - USWSA Nationals (Coney Island NY, USA) - 100 and 200 Free in 2C waters - DONE (1st overall)
  • Mar 10 - Sand to Surf (Auckland, New Zealand) - 2.6 K
  • Mar 17 - Port to Pub (Perth WA, Australia) - 25.0 K - OCEANIA
  • Mar 25 - Nevis to St Kitts Channel Swim (St Kitts & Nevis) - 4.0 K
  • Apr 14 - Swim Around Lido Key (Sarasota FL, USA) - 11.3 K
  • Apr 21 - Freedom Swim from Robben Island (Cape Town, ZA) - 7.5 K - AFRICA
  • Apr 28 - SCAR Swim - Stage 4 Roosevelt Lake (Mesa AZ, USA) - 10.0 K
  • May 12 - Lake Titicaca (Copacabana, Bolivia) - 7.5 K - SOUTH AMERICA
  • Jun 2 - 2 Bridges (Poughkeepsie NY, USA) - 5.0 K
  • Jun 16 - END-WET (Grand Forks ND/MN, USA) - 58.0 K - NORTH AMERICA
  • Jun 24 - 8 Bridges - Stage 5 Bear Mt. to Tappan Zee (NY, USA) - 32.0 K
  • Jul 22 - Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swim (Istanbul, Turkey) - 6.5 K - EUROPE
  • Aug 16 - Catalina Channel (Catalina Island CA, USA) - 34.0 K
  • Oct 6 - Clean Half Marathon Swim (Hong Kong SAR China) - 15.0 K - ASIA
  • Nov 10 - IISA Ice KM Swim event in Antarctica - 1.0 K - ANTARCTICA
That makes a total of 230.0 K in 16 open water swims in 10 different countries in the seven continents.
